HISTORY
Our Belief
“Like stones rolling down hills, fair ideas reach their objectives despite all obstacles and barriers. It may be possible to speed or hinder them, but impossible to stop them.”
~ Jose Marti
In 2005, The X LeVeL logo was created for the first youth basketball team. The team consisted of 5th and 6th grade boys and one girl. They competed in local recreation and church leagues within the Central Florida Area. With limited success after winning the Championship in the church league, they continued to play in local leagues to develop and get more experience. By 2007, the team began competing in tournaments in Atlanta, Tallahassee, Tampa, Gainesville and Orlando. They won or placed in several tournaments prior to their graduation. This group was the first graduating class of The X LeVeL.

In 2011, The X LeVeL logo and mission statement were re-vamped to take a more holistic approach on the growth and education of the community, families and the youth. Adding programs that such as: inertia, C.L.A.Y. and the Girls Leadership, The X LeVeL has been able to better cater to the needs of the community.

Changing Lives of Adults and Youth
In 2012, The X LeVeL wanted to educate the community on the the current topics as it relates to health and wellness, education and personal growth and development. We are looking to partner with other organizations to bring these information sessions back to the community.

In 2013, The X LeVeL took on the challenge of trying to get kids active. Applying Newton's 1st Law to physical fitness, we believe if we can get kids active at a young age, they are more inclined to stick with it. The inertia movement will be providing organized play time for toddlers to middle school.

In 2014, The X LeVeL created our youth leadership program. The first year will be designed for high school girls, to follow with a boys program.. We would like to surround our participants with successful leaders in our community.
